Hi. I'm Stephanie. You might want to know a little about me as you start to explore the idea of coaching. While I conduct a phone conversation (free of charge) to explain a bit about my process and answer any questions you have, here are some things to help you get a feel for who I am and how I came to coaching.
My Story
Coach:

-
Certified Neurodiversity Coach through the Institute for Applied Coaching (IAC). This accredited program exceeds the International Coaching Federation's standard for Associate Certified Coach (ACC) level training.
-
Completed significant neurodiversity coach training through IAC. My heart is focused on supporting families with executive function challenges.
-
Currently taking on new clients for individual coaching.
-
Currently taking on new readers for my 6-week ADHD read-and-coach package. We read Dr. Sharon Saline's book What Your ADHD Child Wishes You Knew, discuss, and coach together.
-
Mentor/coach for high school students, Arlington School District, VA, 2021 to present.
-
Diagnosed late in life with combined-type ADHD. I understand where my clients are coming from. My compassion for my clients is not only heartfelt but informed.

-
I am trained in the following and have coached clients in these areas:
-
Productivity, organizing, and time-management goals
-
Life/career planning goals
-
Habit building and busting
-
ADHD-related challenges (time management/awareness, goal identification, resource development)
-
-
My clients include:
-
Moms of school-aged children seeking better balance
-
Early-career folks wanting to create a life that fits
-
Busy professionals trying to juggle it all
-
Folks toward the end of their careers looking to design the next chapter
-
High school and college students looking for time management, prioritization skills, and goal development
-

Business Owner:

-
Prior to this career turn toward coaching I owned a residential cleaning company for 6 years, providing professional organizing as well. The organizing is what led me to coaching, as I found I wanted to better help my clients maintain the organizing systems I created for them. I found coaching to be so life-changing and transformative that I haven't looked back. It's a system that truly works if the client works it, and I want to be involved in this process full-time, so here we are.
Technology Recruiter:
-
I worked for a boutique staffing firm as a technology recruiter for 7 years while raising my two sons. I gained knowledge and insight that I freely offer to coaching clients regarding job search, network building, and resume construction.
My Other Hats:
-
I hold a Master of Fine Arts degree which qualifies me to think creatively, and outside the box, and to understand that growing your passion takes sustained effort, attention, and consistency.
-
I'm a retired long-distance runner of 35 years who is qualified to listen in full support to your desire to thrive in the face of challenge. I will be the first to tell you that it's absolutely possible to achieve more than you think you can.
-
I live in Northern Virginia with my husband. We raised our two sons here and still happily live in our home among the trees. I keep up a weekly cartoon blog, found on this website. I write for ADDitude magazine, also found here under "Other Writing". I like to take walks at sunrise and sunset. I volunteer whenever I can.
